Students now have 24-hour access to WSU health services

  • A new student health web portal -- myShockerHealth -- is now availble.
  • Students can access a variety of personal health services and information 24/7.
  • Go to studenthealth.wichita.edu.

New for the fall semester, Wichita State students now have access to a variety of health services through a 24-hour patient web portal.

The portal, called myShockerHealth, is accessible at studenthealth.wichita.edu and can be accessed with students’ WSU ID and password. It was developed by Student Health Services.

Through myShockerHealth, students can:

  • Book appointments online
  • Complete pre-visit questionnaires
  • Complete entrance medical forms
  • Complete immunization requirement forms
  • Exchange secure messages with providers
  • Print online walkout statements
  • Pay their bills
  • Request prescriptions refills

While students can still access Student Health by calling for appointments and coming to the clinic, the services available on the portal provide them the opportunity to be more involved and engaged in their health care.

Other advantages include saving time by completing forms online before appointments; an appointment confirmation system through email and text, which helps prevent students being charged a “no show” fee; and having a way to communicate privately with Student Health through secure messaging.
