“Aspen Santa Fe is a repertory company, numerous choreographers, all contemporary work, very exciting,” said Nick Johnson, director of dance at WSU. “Touted as the 'ballet company of the future,’ I think its performance will be exceptionally exciting and absolutely invaluable to the dancers who are training to be in professional companies. They will learn by osmosis.”

The contemporary dance company’s tour to Wichita is also being sponsored by Ballet Wichita, a strong community partner for WSU dance and its college.

The College of Fine Arts at Wichita State University has other excellent offerings for audiences this February. Tickets can be purchased in person or by phone from noon-5 p.m. Monday-Friday at the College of Fine Arts Box Office, (316) 978-3233, or online at www.wichita.edu/fastickets.
