Entrepreneurship for Innovative Educators course to run in June

Educators have an opportunity to improve their teaching skills in entrepreneurship during a summer course scheduled Monday, June 7-Friday, June 18, at Wichita State University. The course is conducted by faculty of the Center for Entrepreneurship, W. Frank Barton School of Business. For more information, go to www.wichita.edu/entr750.

ENTR 750, a three-hour graduate-level course, is designed to introduce or strengthen educators' knowledge about the contemporary world of entrepreneurship and small business. Participants will be exposed to creative thinking and the importance of innovation and change.

During the summer course, teachers will learn how to encourage the entrepreneurial attitude in the classroom and at home, share the importance of the private enterprise system, and use their entrepreneurial skills to their advantage. The course is taught by a team of university faculty and local business leaders. A limited number of scholarships are available.
