Most recently, Longwell was the events coordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sedgwick County. She also has worked as a service and processing account manager for IMA of Kansas in the personal lines department.

A native of Wichita, Longwell graduated from WSU in 2005 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing. However, her passion has always been for event planning.

“As an alumna, I am a huge Shocker advocate, and I am thrilled to be back on campus working at the foundation,” she said. “I am excited to be a part of this team, and I look forward to carrying on the traditions that have been built within the foundation, as well as searching for new ways to thank our donors.”

“We had been searching for an individual who not only exemplified our core values of integrity, teamwork, relationships and service, but also one whose talents and strengths complement those of our current staff,” said King. “I believe that Stacie is that person.”
