Join us to Discover Wichita State University in Emporia. High school juniors, seniors and their parents are invited to enjoy dinner and discussion with Wichita State students and staff. And one lucky student will receive a $1,000 WSU scholarship.

Discover WSU in Emporia is from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, at the Pizza Ranch, 3000 W. 18th St. Dinner for each student and one guest is free. Additional guests are $10 each. Reservations are required by Aug. 26.

This informal dinner will provide attendees a wealth of information about WSU in an intimate setting. Learn about admissions, scholarships, financial aid, housing, cooperative education, student life and academic majors on campus.

A $1,000 WSU scholarship for the 2011-2012 school year will be awarded to a senior at the dinner. To be eligible the student must either be admitted to WSU or apply at the event.
