Center for Entrepreneurship names 2010/2011 faculty fellows

The Center for Entrepreneurship in the W. Frank Barton School of Business at Wichita State University has announced the 2010/2011 Coleman Faculty Entrepreneurship Fellows awardees.

They are:

Mehmet Bayram Yildirim, Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering

Ed Baker, School of Performing Arts, technical theater

Michael Jorgensen, Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, bioengineering program

The Coleman Faculty Entrepreneurship Fellows program is sponsored by the Coleman Foundation.

The purpose of the program is to increase and build support for entrepreneurship education across the WSU campus.

These distinguished faculty fellows were selected from a number of applications because of their desire to enhance student learning in their areas as it relates to entrepreneurship.

These enhancements may include creating or teaching an entrepreneurship class within their discipline, modifying an existing course or developing an experiential entrepreneurship education program within their department.

The fellows receive a stipend to help with travel expenses to either the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization Conference in November or the Self Employment in the Arts Conference in February.
