Nationally renowned healthy dating expert to speak at WSU

With all the recent media attention on high profile celebrities and their sex lives, how are today’s students in high schools and on college campuses dealing with contemporary sexual culture? How do they decide what is “OK” and what is “not OK” to do with a partner intimately? The old cliches of “keep it in your pants” or “a young woman would never . . .” simply are not having any positive impact on today’s generation.

Wichita State’s Housing and Residence Life is bringing nationally renowned author and expert Mike Domitrz to share the keys to handling intimacy at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, in the CAC Theater. Admission is free.

Known for his blunt, thought-provoking and entertaining approach to this sensitive issue, Domitrz reveals three life-changing approaches most students and parents have never heard.

Parents praise Domitrz for how he presents an old issue with a refreshing viewpoint. He provides parents with real solutions to talking with their pre-teen, teenage and college-age sons and daughters. Students love how Domitrz uses both humor and hard-hitting emotion to give them skills they can easily implement into their own lives instantly (literally by the time they walk out of the event).

Domitrz’s critically acclaimed book “May I Kiss You?” is used as a model by people of all ages around the world. His DVD “Help! My Teen Is Dating” is endorsed by educators, parents and professionals around the world. Domitrz has traveled the world for more than a decade sharing with people of all lifestyles and backgrounds. He has spoken with professional athletes and is often used as a media expert for TV and radio shows.
