Arts and Crafts Fair returns to Wichita State University

The Student Activities Council arts committee is bringing the Arts and Crafts Fair back to Wichita State University from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, and Wednesday, Dec. 1, in Shocker Square, Rhatigan Student Center.

The fair is looking for vendors ($20 WSU students, $30 WSU faculty/staff, $50 non-WSU personnel).

Vendor applications are found in the Activities Office, 219 RSC, phone (316) 978-3495 and online at http://www.wichita.edu/sac. Students are encouraged to shop the wares of various vendors and support local artisans.

The Arts and Crafts Fair is in its 20th year at Wichita State. Each year the fair gives students and staff the opportunity to purchase a diverse array of wares for birthdays, holiday events and general decoration.

The SAC arts committee hopes the Arts and Crafts Fair makes shopping easier for students, faculty and staff at Wichita State University by bringing local artisans to campus.

SAC is a student run organization housed in Wichita State’s Rhatigan Student Center. SAC is one of the largest student run organizations and plans and administers more than 150 events each year. SAC instills leadership skills, builds lasting relationships and makes campus life more enjoyable.

The arts committee is one of nine committees in the Student Activities Council that supports and promotes all forms of artistic expression in the WSU community. Events include arts and crafts days, cultural programming and unique art activities.
