Engineering students at Wichita State University will showcase some of their hard work during the 56th Annual College of Engineering Open House from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday, May 6.

The public is welcome to walk around the Engineering Research Laboratory Building, Wallace Hall and the Engineering Building to view laboratories and projects.

Tours will be offered hourly throughout the day. Some activities will be geared toward school-age youth.

The best projects will be recognized at an awards dinner at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at the downtown Hyatt Regency Wichita.

Tickets are $20 for students, $30 general admission.
