Wichita State University senior Carol Warhurst is the 2011 recipient of the annual scholarship awarded by the Wichita Chapter Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Scholarship Fund and the Wichita Chapter SHRM.

Warhurst is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and is vice president of recruitment for the Golden Key International Honor Society.

She has been a member of the WSU Student Chapter SHRM for the past two years and will assume the chapter presidency in the fall.

The Wichita SHRM Scholarship Fund is an IRS 501(c) 3 organization managed by a board of trustees.

Trustees include current Wichita Chapter SHRM board members, as well as staff representatives from Friends University, Newman University and Wichita State University.
