Twenty Kansas groups receive grants from Compassion Kansas

The Wichita State University Center for Community Support and Research has announced Compassion Kansas grant awards to 20 organizations in Kansas.

Funded by the federal Compassion Capital Fund, Compassion Kansas provides capacity building support for qualifying faith-based and community organizations.

Awards include grant funding and technical assistance opportunities such as strategic planning, facilitation, leadership skills, collaboration, service expansion, communication, evaluation research and efficiency improvement.

The following awardees for Round Four of Compassion Kansas assistance were chosen from 94 applicants from 32 counties:
