Motivational speaker and author Grant Baldwin will give a talk at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the Wichita State University Hughes Metropolitan Complex, 5015 E. 29th St. North. Admission is free.

The event is targeted for students, parents, school staff, social workers and the Wichita community, and is sponsored by Kansas Kids @ GEAR UP.

Baldwin will help attendees navigate challenges and opportunities in a practical, positive and applicable manner. He will address the real and honest questions students are asking.

Each Kansas Kids @ GEAR UP student who signs in will receive a free copy of Baldwin’s book “Reality Check.”

For those who would like to purchase the book “Reality Check,” it will be available for purchase after the presentation.
