ACT prep workshops are scheduled for 2 WSU locations

Wichita State University's Counseling and Testing Center is offering workshops to help high school students prepare for the ACT from 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, Oct. 1, at the WSU South Campus, and 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, Oct. 8, at the main campus.

The workshops will present general test-taking tips and practice questions for the English, reading, math and science test sections.

The cost for the workshops is $28, and registration can be done online at www.registerblast.com/wsu.

The next national test date for the ACT is Saturday, Oct. 22.
Students need to bring a pencil and a calculator to the workshops. All other materials will be supplied, including practice tests.
