Warm to the holidays by attending a free mini-organ concert with Lynne Davis performing on the great Marcussen organ from 5:30-6:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, in Wiedemann Recital Hall at Wichita State University.

Davis, the Ann and Dennis Ross Endowed Faculty of Distinction in Organ, said the concert will feature favorite Christmas carols for the audience to sing and performances by the School of Music madrigals and women’s vocal ensembles.

“Come out and catch the holiday spirit,” said Davis.

The second annual Christmas Organ Concert coincides with the 25th anniversary of the installation of the Marcussen and Wiedemann Recital Hall.

The annual WSU Tree Lighting Ceremony will be at 3:30 p.m. the same day on the north side of the Rhatigan Student Center. Afterward, take a break at Fast Break in the Shocker Lounge or shop the WSU Bookstore, both open until 5 p.m.
