The Regional Economic Area Partnership of South Central Kansas, in partnership with 10 local governments and 20 other partners, has been awarded a $1.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to create a regional plan for sustainable growth.
With this grant, REAP will establish a planning and citizen engagement process to develop long-term vision and goals that reflect its unique regional values and identity.
The REAP-led consortium includes Wichita State University’s Hugo Wall School of Urban and Public Affairs and the Center for Community Support and Research.
