People whining, set to music

The complaints are in, compiled by curator Emily Stamey at the Ulrich Museum of Art. The song is ready, composed by professor Tom Wine of the Wichita State University School of Music. Now you can discover what your fellow Wichitans are grumbling about when it comes to, well, just about everything.

Wine will direct the Wichita Complaints Choir following the Tallgrass Film Association’s showing of the documentary “Complaints Choir,” which starts at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, at the Louise C. Murdock Theatre, 536 N. Broadway. Tickets are $10 general admission; $8 students, seniors, military, Tallgrass Film Association members and WSU community; and free to Ulrich Museum members.

Watch the choir rehearse.
