Wichita company hires WSU student business group

Local product distribution company MoJack Distributors has hired Barton International Group (BIG), a student-run consulting firm at Wichita State University, to conduct market research for the company.

This working partnership has provided much needed research for MoJack Distributors, as well as hands-on, real-world experience for students in BIG.

The members assigned to the project conducted research on the feasibility of starting and distributing a new product line for the company.

BIG leverages its competitive advantages and core values to provide exceptional work to its clients. Through partnerships with local and international companies, BIG aims to continually develop its members into entrepreneurial leaders with a global perspective.

“We consider it an honor to be partnering with MoJack,” says senior Erin Railsback, BIG chairwoman. “They are a company with great dedication to innovation and customer service, and we love to work with local companies and support our community.”

Barton International Group is a student consulting firm founded and maintained by students of WSU’s W. Frank Barton School of Business. BIG’s 27 members get hands-on experience by partnering with businesses to complete projects that help companies become more successful in the international marketplace. Barton International Group has worked with such leading companies as Spirit AeroSystems and Coleman Co.
