Hubbard Street 2 is a six-member touring troupe connected to Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, one of the country’s most important contemporary dance companies.

Hubbard Street encompasses a vast array of techniques and forms, as well as an understanding of abstract artistry and the emotional nuances of movement. It is among the most original forces in contemporary dance.

As one of the only professional dance companies to perform year-round, Hubbard Street is continually touring nationwide and internationally.

Here is a short example of their artistry.

Under the direction of Taryn Kaschock Russell, the six dancers of Hubbard Street 2 (HS2) perform and tour to critical acclaim at venues around the world. To date, 11 HS2 dancers have advanced to the main company, and many more have joined other national and international companies.

HS2 dancers are notorious for their athleticism and fearless dancing.
