Southwest archaeology is topic of upcoming exhibit

The Wichita State University Spring 2012 Museum Exhibition class will hold a reception for the opening of its new exhibition, “Southwest Archaeology, The Ewing Site: An Unusually Rich and Surprising Place.”

The exhibition will contain artifacts from the Ewing Site from 4-5:30 p.m. Monday, April 23, at the Lowell D. Holmes Museum of Anthropology, Neff Hall.

The exhibition will display pottery, unique jewelry and photographs describing the Mesa Verde inhabitants of the Ewing Archaeological Site from approximately AD 1050 to 1150.
