ACT Test prep workshops coming to Southeast, West High

TRIO Talent Search, Wichita State University’s Counseling and Testing Center and USD 259 will present two ACT Test Preparation Workshops at a reduced cost.

An ACT Test workshop on all subjects will be held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, May 25, at Wichita Southeast High School.

An ACT math-only workshop will be held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, at Wichita West High School.

The cost for each workshop is just $15 thanks to College Access Challenge Grant funding. Some fee waivers are available. Space is limited.

Students from USD 259 should register at their schools with their college and career coordinator or Talent Search EDA.

Students who do not attend USD 259 can access the registration form at www.wichita.edu/counselingtesting. The form is listed on the webpage under ACT Prep Workshops.

Students will need to print the form, fill it out and return it to WSU’s Counseling and Testing Center with the $15 fee.

The workshops will include study guides to better prepare for the ACT Test. An entire session will be dedicated to the math area of the ACT Test. After the instruction, a practice test will be administered at both sessions.
