This year’s theme is “Preparing for Public Service of Tomorrow.”
Stevens will speak at 1 p.m.; Bardo will speak at 4 p.m.
A $15 meal will be served during the school update luncheon.

At 1 p.m., Stevens will share her experience leading a nationally recognized innovative program and explore how to create a culture of partnership building. Her presentation is titled “Excellence in Private Public Partnerships.”

At 4 p.m., Bardo will present “Universities as Stewards of Place: Changing Expectations for Engagement.”

From 10 a.m.-noon, a workshop on “Keeping Yourself and Your Organization Energized” will be led by Maureen Dasey-Morales, director, WSU Counseling and Testing Center.

At 2:30 p.m., breakout sessions on “Consolidating Services: Lessons Learned” and “Policy Innovation: The Nebraska Project” are scheduled.

Speakers for the service consolidation session are Donte Martin, city of Wichita; Walter Thiessen, Wichita Child Guidance Center; Barbara Andres, Episcopal Social Services. The policy innovation presenters are Angela Buzard, WSU Environmental Finance Center, and Steve Batt, center consultant.
