The Center for Economic Development and Business Research (CEDBR) at Wichita State University will release the employment forecasts for the state of Kansas tomorrow (Wednesday, Oct. 3).

The Wichita employment forecast will be released Thursday, Oct. 11, at the annual Wichita Economic Outlook Conference at Century II.

Both forecasts will be available at www.forecast.cedbr.org.

Other conferences across the state
This year the CEDBR has added four new economic outlook conference locations: Pittsburg (Oct. 15), Hays (Oct. 18), Emporia (Oct. 19) and Dodge City (Oct. 22).

The goal of the conferences is to provide insights into the current local and state economies by addressing topics of interest to the community, region and state.

Focus on key industries in the area by industry experts, an analysis of the economy as a whole, as well as a local forecast for the coming year, are designed to provide information to help local business leaders develop business strategies and avoid potential pitfalls.

The detailed conference agendas and registration are available at www.ksoutlook.cedbr.org.
