Third Ulrich director candidate to make campus visit Monday

The third of three candidates in a national search for the Ulrich Museum's new director at Wichita State University will make a campus visit and give a public lecture on the topic, "What is the role of a university art museum in the 21st Century?"

The third candidate, Robert Workman, will speak from 1-2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, in 210 McKnight Art Center West (WSU School of Art and Design). This event is free and open to the public. Workman is director of the Flint Hills Discovery Center in Manhattan, Kan.

He previously served as executive director of the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Ark., and associate director of the Amon Carter Museum of American Art in Fort Worth, Texas.
