Student Involvement hosting Earth Day Wichita festival at WSU

Wichita State University’s Student Involvement will be hosting Earth Day Wichita from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, April 22, in front of the Ablah Library.

This festival will inspire appreciation for the environment, provide education on how to live sustainably, and recognize those on campus and in the community striving to contribute to a healthy and enduring community.

Attendees can enjoy food, music and activities, sign a pledge to go green and visit informational booths to learn more about sustainable practices within the community.

At noon, there will be a recognition ceremony for offices participating in the WSU Green Office Program.

They will receive a plaque from Wichita State President John Bardo.

This program is sponsored by the Student Government Association.
