The Hugo Wall School of Urban and Public Affairs at Wichita State University is partnering with the Public Management Center at the University of Kansas to bring the Emerging Leaders' Academy (ELA) to Wichita.

ELA is a succession-planning program targeted to promising, non-managerial staff to help them prepare for leadership roles in their departments and agencies. Anyone who has gone through the mini MPA program, or has received their MPA and is not yet in a supervisory role, can benefit from this academy.

The Wichita academy begins Thursday, Aug. 9. Enrollment is now open. Registration closes Tuesday, July 30.
