The Lake Afton Public Observatory and the Kansas Astronomical Observers will host a telescope fair from 7:30-10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at the observatory.
Members of the Kansas Astronomical Observers, the local astronomy club, will set up different types of telescopes and will be available to discuss each kind's advantages and disadvantages.
For anyone that is considering buying a telescope as a holiday gift, this is an excellent opportunity to talk to the experts and to see a variety of telescopes in the same place at the same time.
