WSU students, professor join forces to raise money for CMNH

More than 50 Wichita State students will join more than 200 models as they strut their stuff on the runway -- all for the purpose of raising money for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

Models for Miracles will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, at the Doubletree Hilton in Wichita (formerly Airport Hilton).

Kimberly McDowell, associate professor in the College of Education and the current Mrs. Kansas International, serves as the executive director for Models for Miracles and has set a goal of raising $15,000 for CMNH this year.

This will be the third year for this event, and McDowell is proud of the WSU students, who not only contribute to this event, but also host Shockerthon, another benefit for CMNH.
