Dan Glickman donates papers to Wichita State

Former U.S. Agriculture Secretary Dan Glickman, who also represented the 4th Congressional District for 18 years as a Democrat from Wichita, has donated his professional papers to the Special Collections division of University Libraries at Wichita State University.

Dozens of boxes from Glickman contain correspondence, legislative bills and proposed bills, news clippings, press releases, photos, official documents and more. Among some of the personal mementos with historical value are about nine scrapbooks created by his mother, Gladys, that follow press coverage of Glickman from the mid-1970s until her death in late 1999.
