The College of Fine Arts at Wichita State University has come up with an informative and user-friendly way to let everyone know about events going on around campus.

Now available in the App Store is the WSU Fine Arts Calendar App for iPad, developed and by designed by faculty in the college.

The free app – designed by Jeff Pulaski, assistant professor in the School of Art, Design and Creative Industries – contains all of the season’s event information, plus additional content, images, links and videos.

It’s an enhancement from the printed and online versions of the fine arts calendar, says assistant fine arts dean Wendy Hanes, and is in keeping with WSU’s cultural shift of placing more value on technology.

“I think it fits beautifully with the Innovation University mission,” Hanes says. “We hope to have many more similar opportunities in the future.”
