Wichita State's Business Booster Series to focus on big risks, big rewards

As part of its mission to promote collaboration between WSU faculty, students and the Wichita manufacturing community in applying for federal innovation awards, Wichita State University’s Center for Entrepreneurship is hosting the 2014 Business Booster Series, 12:30-3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, in Devlin Hall, Room 010.

Tickets are $50 for the general public, $10 for Wichita State employees and $5 for WSU students.

The event will focus on big risks and big rewards, showing people how to take creative ideas and putting them to work. “Small business funding opportunities SBIR/STTR” will be presented by entrepreneur David Sikorra, managing partner of EMODL Partners Ltd.

In partnership with the Center for Entrepreneurship, the event is sponsored by WSU’s W. Frank Barton School of Business, Meritrust Credit Union and the United States Air Force Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer program.
