Hiring and recruiting trends survey to be presented at Wichita State

Results of a 2017 Hiring and Recruiting Trends survey will be presented at an event 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at Wichita State’s Hughes Metropolitan Complex.

The report will be given by Phil Gardner, director of the Collegiate Employment Research Institute at Michigan State University.

Wichita State is one of just a dozen universities in the country Gardner is traveling to for the presentation.

This survey is a compilation of responses from more than 5,000 U.S. employers. The analysis will provide insights into the employment outlook for college-level positions over 2017.

The event includes networking with faculty, lunch, the presentation and an employer reaction panel. Cost is $60 per person. The last day to register is Friday, Nov. 11.
