The Wichita State University Police Department is warning people about a scam involving phone calls offering advertising services on behalf of WSU Athletics.

A caller or callers are offering eight seconds of advertising during men’s basketball games for $300.

This is a scam and is not affiliated with Wichita State Athletics or Wichita State.

So far, no one has given money to the callers.
