Wichita State Summer Choir to spend an evening with Mark Hayes

Wichita State’s Summer Choir will present “An Evening with Mark Hayes” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 1958 N Webb Rd, Wichita, KS.

The Wichita State Summer Choir and Eastminster Chancel Choir are excited to welcome Kansas City native and award-winning concert pianist, composer, arranger and conductor Mark Hayes. He has more than 1,200 published works for choir, piano and solo voice. His music is popular with both church choirs and school organizations. Whether concertizing on the other side of the globe or composing at his home in Kansas City, Missouri, Mark is blessed to live out his mission "to create beautiful music for the world.”

During this special concert, Hayes will share unique stories about his music written during the past four decades and play some of his favorite compositions.
