WSU provost, business dean headline World Trade Council event

 The World Trade Council of Wichita Inc. is hosting a reception, dinner and keynote address at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at the Olive Tree Banquet Hall, 2949 N. Rock Road.

The event is called “WSU Global Taskforce & Barton School Business Initiatives.”

Gary L. Miller, provost and vice president of academic affairs and research at Wichita State University, will lead the “WSU Global Taskforce” portion of the event.

Douglas Hensler, dean of WSU’s W. Frank Barton School of Business, will address the audience with his speech, “Barton School Business Initiatives.”

In addition, there will be a “Barton International Group” presentation by several Barton School scholars.

Cost for the event is $25 for members, $30 for nonmembers and $15 for students.
