Three members of Wichita State Rowing have made the All American team.

Kimberly Calaman was awarded third team All American; Peter Fast was a regional winner; and he and Lisa Burns were Academic All Americans of the American Collegiate Rowing Association (ACRA).

Coaches of the 150-member association could each submit five women and five men candidates.

From these nominees, nine student-athletes were recognized from each region.

After the conclusion of the National Regatta on May 24, the regional officers chose the All Team Americans.

Calaman and Fast were chosen for excellence in 2,000-meter testing score, career racing results, accomplishments within the team, individual performances and the coach recommendation performance of the crew, with most consideration given to the ACRA results.

Fast and Burns were awarded 2nd team Academic All American, the awards going to junior or senior athletes who have a cumulative 3.7 GPA or higher.
