High school juniors, seniors, community college students and their parents are invited to enjoy dinner and discussion with Wichita State University students and staff during Discover WSU.

Discover WSU in Topeka will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, at the Capitol Plaza Hotel, 1717 SW Topeka Blvd. Dinner for each student and one guest is free. Additional guests are $10 each.

Discover WSU in Overland Park will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, at the Sheraton Hotel Overland Park, 6100 College Blvd. Dinner for each student and one guest is free. Additional guests are $10 each.

These informal dinners will provide attendees a wealth of information about WSU in an intimate setting. Learn about admissions, scholarships, financial aid, housing, cooperative education, student life and academic majors on campus.

A $1,000 WSU scholarship for the 2010-2011 school year will be awarded to a senior or transfer student at each dinner. To be eligible, the student must either be admitted to WSU or apply at the event.

Reservations are required by Tuesday, Sept. 29. Space is limited, so RSVP at www.admissions.wichita.edu.
