High school juniors, seniors and their parents are invited to enjoy dinner and discussion with Wichita State students, faculty and staff during Discover Wichita State.

Discover WSU in Salina will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, at Martinelli’s Little Italy, 158 S. Santa Fe Ave. in Salina.

Dinner for each student and one guest is free. Additional guests are $10 each. Reservations are required by Nov. 2. Space is limited, so RSVP at www.admissions.wichita.edu.

The informal dinner will provide attendees a wealth of information about WSU in an intimate setting. Learn about admissions, scholarships, financial aid, housing, cooperative education, student life and academic majors on campus.

A $1,000 WSU scholarship for the 2010-2011 school year will be awarded to a high school senior or transfer student at the dinner. To be eligible the student must either be admitted to WSU or apply at the event.
