Trent Patterson, a senior majoring in accounting, was recently named 2009 Shocktoberfest Man of the Year at Wichita State University.

The Shocktoberfest Man and Woman of the Year are two students who encompass campus pride and are role models for future and current students in and out of the classroom. For winning the title, Patterson will receive a $500 scholarship.

After completing his degree, Patterson plans to travel across the nation as a regional director for his fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon.
