Barton School luncheon to focus on China and the economic downturn

The W. Frank Barton School of Business at Wichita State University will host a luncheon featuring Steven Chang, managing partner and CEO of the CID Group, from 11:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, at the Hyatt Regency Wichita.

Chang will speak from the perspectives of macro economy, industry dynamics and capital markets. He believes that the greater China region will take on the leading role in recovering from the global economic downturn.

Under Chang’s leadership, CID Group has invested in more than 125 companies.

Along with being the founding partner of CID Group, Chang is the former vice president of the investment department of China Development Industrial Bank, where he established a reputation for having the ability to initiate and close technology transfer deals and also create and build successful companies.

Chang sits on the board of QUANTA Storage Inc., World Wide Testing Technology Inc. and Kinsus International Technology.

He received his master’s in business administration from National Cheng-Chi University.
