As a member of the Barton School’s marketing faculty, Cockrell has taught a variety of classes at the undergraduate and graduate levels including Marketing Analysis, Introduction to Marketing, Marketing Research, Sales and Sales Force Management, Marketing Strategy, and the Berlin Experience. He also is a member of the Barton School’s undergraduate programs committee, the faculty advisor for the student marketing organization and reviews articles for the Journal of Services Marketing and Journal of Macromarketing.
Seth’s academic research focuses on corporate social responsibility. His research has been published in the Journal of Public Policy and Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice and Journal of Macromarketing. In 2022, he received the Barton School’s Researcher/Writer of the Year award. He holds PhD in Marketing from Michigan State University.
“I’m very excited to take this next step in my career,” said Cockrell. “We have an amazing department with some of the top faculty and students in the country. I look forward to leading them to even greater success.”
