Barton School Hosts Lunch for NXTSTAGE FinTech Finalists

The W. Frank Barton School of Business at Wichita State University was excited to host lunch for the finalists of the 2022 NXTSTAGE FinTech competition in the Wayne and Kay Woolsey Hall Ballroom. Finalists from across the globe came to Wichita, and before the main competition had a chance to tour Woolsey Hall and dine with faculty and staff from the Barton School.

About the NXTSTAGE FinTech Competition

The NXTSTAGE FinTech Competition is an innovative program that allows FinTech startups from around the world to present their innovative technology solutions to prospective customers in Kansas that they otherwise may not have been able to access. Startups offer potential technology tools – ready to be pilot tested or fully deployed – that can help financial institutions enhance their digital offerings and improve their operations. The competition attracted 94 competitors hailing from 27 states and 13 countries, and eight leading startups have been selected to host in Wichita.

The program’s pilot partners – community banks, credit unions and financial services businesses in Kansas – get to collaborate with startups and become early adopters of next-generation solutions, curated from among the crowded field of FinTech offerings.
