Entrepreneurial students bring StartUp Grind U to WSU

Biomedical engineering graduate student Jessica Aldrich is leading the way to bring StartUp Grind U to Wichita State. StartUp Grind was started by Google for Entrepreneurs and is a global startup community designed to educate, inspire and connect entrepreneurs.

With a successful local chapter -- StartUp Grind ICT -- already in place, Jessica and a group of WSU students decided to help bring it to WSU as well. They're in the final steps of the process and will soon begin planning their first event.

Entrepreneurship and innovation are near and dear to Jessica, one of a handful of WSU students chosen as a University Innovation Fellow, a global community of students leading a movement to ensure that all students gain the necessary attitudes, skills and knowledge required to compete in the economy of the future.
