Students gathered Sept. 4 for the "Walk-A-Mile" events on the Wichita State campus.
While the event can be seen as fun and silly, it's held every year to bring awareness
to sexual violence, gender violence and rape issues.
"Just for at least one mile to really remember that it does affect everyone," says Skylar Fulton, chairwoman of Student Activities Council Talks & Topics.
