More than 3,500 Shockers are eligible for graduation in spring 2021. While each of
their journeys is unique, they all share a common connection to Shocker Nation. Here's what some of our graduates have to say about their time at Wichita State and
the future.

Payton Morgan
Payton Morgan, a native Wichitan and computer science grad, is a Wichita East High School alumnus. He chose to attend Wichita State because
of the relationships he already had with Wichita State students and staff.
Caitlyn Hammack, from Russell, Kansas, came to Wichita State because she wanted to
be close to her family. During her time at Wichita State, she studied social work and has been involved in several organizations, including the Student Government
Association.
Mackenzie Haas, from Fountain, Colo., she studied integrated marketing communications and was involved in several organizations during her time at Wichita State including
the Student Government Association and Uniting Bold Sisters.
Sierra Gladman came to Wichita State to learn graphic design in a beneficial and local environment. She wants to help a company grow using her
graphic design skills.
Kathy Phan, a native Wichitan and nursing grad, wanted to find a university that was affordable for her, Wichita State provided
that proximity to her family.
Paul Leeker, from Colwich, enjoyed his professors in the Hugo Wall School of Public Affairs and their assistance in preparing him for a career as a public administrator.
Andrea Grisanti currently works as a graphic design intern with Strategic Communications and as the student communications assistant
for the Office of Adult Learning.
Amber Nguyen, a graphic design grad, came to Wichita State to stay close to home. She participated in events and
organizations on campus to network and gained experience through her design internship
with the Office of Strategic Communications.
Tammie Huynh, who studied integrated marketing communications, wants to work in the fashion or music industry. She currently works as a marketing
intern with Strategic Communications.
Saniya Ahmed, a graduate in health sciences, has helped establish the first Muslim sorority on campus, and in the nation, Mu
Delta Alpha Sorority Inc., and been awarded the Phenomenal Women award by the Office
of Diversity and Inclusion.
Samuel Paunetto spent 18 years as an ordained minister and theologian before deciding
to earn a Master’s in social work. He plans to pursue a career in public policy advocacy.
Wichitan Heather Clark, a biological sciences grad, will take a laboratory research position in St. Louis after graduation from
Wichita State University.
