Suellentrop uses writing talents to tell the WSU story
Senior communicator Paul Suellentrop, who was hired last fall to write primarily for
GoShockers.com, is also lending his voice to issues across campus. His focus is on helping tell
applied learning and campus innovation stories. Check out two stories he recently

CAUTION: One-way traffic near UPD station changing directions today
One-way traffic on Research Place near the University Police station will permanently change directions starting today (Friday, Aug. 3). Physical Plant will install signage in the morning to reflect the change. Please use caution when driving and walking in the area.

of the USTAF-Certified Pumpkin Run 5K, you will receive a one of a kind glow-in-the-dark

Daily website update
We've done significant work last night in repairing the college and department links on the Program Details pages, and expect to have the remaining links solved this morning.
About 15 users attended our open lab session yesterday and we have another scheduled from 2-4 p.m. today in Jabara Hall, Room 122. Please attend a basic training class in the new content management system before coming to the labs. Open labs are held in 122 Jabara Hall on a first-come, first-served, drop-in, drop-out basis. Mike Marlett, John Jones, Tim Hart and Caleb Wilson will be there to answer your questions.

The web support ticketing feature at wichita.edu/websupport has handled 131 support tickets to date with an average time to completion holding at 2.1 hours.
If you have Best Bet site search matches that you would like to see added, file a support ticket and we'll get it added. Please include the following information:
- Title
- Page Description (one or two sentences)
- Page URL
- Keywords (words and phrases separated by comma)
Tip of the Day: Fixing Page Headings
The new design places Page Heading — the vital <h1> code that search engines value — in a gray bar just below the WSU logo in the header. In cases where the migration did not detect an <h1> heading on your page, it defaulted to the file name. To correct headings and titles, click the MultiEdit button and navigate to the parameters section. You can also get to the parameters by clicking the light bulb icon to check out the page. In most cases the Title and Page Heading should be the same thing, although title can be longer than the headline, if necessary.
