Parking lots to be resurfaced east of Grace Wilkie and MRC
Parking lots 15 and 13 east of Grace Wilkie Hall and the Media Resources Center will be resurfaced this summer. Construction will begin around July 1. The estimated completion date is Aug. 8.
During this time, both lots will be closed, with the exception to delivery trucks that may make periodic stops to unload / load equipment.
Panopto will go down for maintenance this weekend
WSU’s video production and hosting service, Panopto, will be down for routine maintenance and cloud upgrade from 8-11:30 p.m. Saturday, June 22. It will be unavailable at that time.
After the upgrade, all video creators must download a new version of the Panopto recorder in order to upload videos to the system. Please refer to the Blackboard landing page for instructions about how to download the new recorder after the upgrade.

“The Chronicle of Higher Education” contacted Usha Haley for comment on the NIH Director's decision to boycott all-male panels. The article was titled, “NIH Leader Shuns All-Male Panels. Most, but Not All, Applaud the Gesture.”
In the article, it said: “Others, like Usha Haley, a professor of management and director of the Center for International Business Advancement at Wichita State University, applaud Collins’s statement but say the more fundamental need is for equal pay and more women at top administrative levels of academe.”

Wichita State University head volleyball coach Chris Lamb announced the 2019 volleyball schedule, which includes 12 home matches and 12 non-conference matches. WSU will play 16 American Athletic Conference matches and nine contests against teams that qualified for the NCAA tournament last year, including home, non-conference tilts with 2018 national semifinalist BYU Sept. 12 and top-five ranked Texas Sept. 14.

Any check needs after today (Friday, June 21) are due at 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, for the check run Thursday, June 27.
The WSU Foundation does not encumber funds, and we cannot write any checks for fiscal year 2019 after Friday, June 28.

watch the AfterShocks play!
One autographed item per person. The first 250 people in the door receive a free
photo to be autographed, in addition to their own item. Photographs are permitted
during autograph session, but players will not pose for pictures.

While you aren’t riding the rapids, you can participate in any of the land and flatwater activities including the Sandridge Sky Trail, newly expanded Sky Slide complex, Rumble Drop, cloud bounce, rock walls, kayaks, stand up paddle boards and more.
The only activity not included is the SKY Zip. This can be purchased separately at the park.
During your day you can freely explore the park on your own or with a group of friends. Grab lunch at the Big Water Grill at your own convenience and enjoy your day.
