A great opportunity awaits military-affiliated and WSU students with an additional
Wichita State University location at McConnell Air Force Base. If you are interested
in taking evening classes in a safe environment with great parking and excellent instructors
WSU at McConnell is the place for you! Currently, our seven programs offer small
class sizes, flexible learning options and dedicated, military-focused support to
help you achieve your academic and career goals. Wichita State University McConnell
campus provides education opportunities for service members, DoD civilian employees,
eligible family members, military retirees, Veterans, and non-DoD personnel. This
also includes current WSU students who are U.S. citizens. Anyone that would like to
take classes on McConnell AFB, who does not have a current I.D. card which gives them
access to the base will need to request security clearance paperwork and instructions
from the Military Education Specialist for Wichita State University. *Certain restrictions apply*
Active Service members who plan to use Tuition Assistance are required to speak with their Military Education Counselor according to their Military Service
Branch prior to enrolling.
Need to earn your associate degree or complete your CCAF? Wichita State University
has you covered! Both offer the civilian courses you need to accomplish your Associate
Degree through CCAF. If you are in the process of achieving either goal via WSU Tech
or Butler CC get excited because Wichita State University has articulations in place
with both colleges to make your transfer as stress-free as possible!
