Athletic Training at Wichita State University

The mission of the Athletic Training Program (ATP) is to provide a comprehensive program of academic coursework and field experience that will educate athletic training students for entry-level positions in the profession of athletic training. The ATP strives to meet the standards, educational competencies, and clinical proficiencies for athletic training education through professional service, research activities, and curriculum design. The ATP has been granted accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) until 2022-2023.

Physical Therapy at Wichita State University

The mission of the Department of Physical Therapy (PT) program is to educate entry-level PT generalists who practice in a variety of health care settings. Through academic and clinical course work, students assimilate knowledge, acquire skills, and develop professional judgment and behaviors appropriate for safe and ethical practice to engage with diverse populations in an ever-changing social and health care environment. The Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) granted the PT program accreditation through 2021.
