Incident Background
On Friday, March 22, 2024, a chilled water line break flooded the basement of the Corbin Education Center, home of the College of Applied Studies at Wichita State University. The resulting damage to data lines, electrical, HVAC and other infrastructure will require the relocation of all classes, department offices and student resources for the remainder of the spring 2024 semester through the summer.

If you work in Corbin ...
The Corbin building has been secured because there is no working fire alarm. If you need to access to Corbin to retrieve items from your office, please email eason.bryer@wichita.edu and/or aaron.conyers@wichita.edu with a copy to cas.dean@wichita.edu.

If you need to print documents or handouts for classes, please visit the SMGT department office in Hubbard Hall in Room 221.
You can listen to voicemail through your university email or forward calls to your cell phone. This can be turned on and off at your discretion. To have this feature programmed, submit a service request. The user guide for this (EC500) can be found at https://www.wichita.edu/services/telecom.
The Corbin Education Center mail has been forwarded to the Sport Management department. Rosie Marino, Stacie Turner and Justin Gordon will be notified when there are items that arrive for each unit, and they can notify individuals so they can stop by Hubbard Hall 221 to pick up their items.
