Estimated Expenses for Study Abroad Programs
WSU Exchange Programs and ISEP (Exchanges)
- You pay your regular tuition and fees at WSU. (generally, for 12 undergraduate credit hours)
- For ISEP students, you pay the cost of living at Fairmount Towers (app. $3,400 per semester).
- The cost of living for the exchange programs can vary, depending on the country where you study. Generally, you can expect to pay between $3,000 and $4,500 per semester for room and board.
Additional Costs
As a WSU student you would also need to pay for:
- Airfare
- International Health insurance (approximately $50-60/month)
- Student Visa Fees (can vary by country & not required for all countries)
- Books
- Personal expenses (in-country travel, cell phone, laundry, etc.)
Scholarships
- All your federal financial aid will usually apply, even Pell Grants, along with any WSU scholarships that you are already receiving.
- There are also several Study Abroad scholarship possibilities through WSU and other resources.
Deadlines for WSU study abroad scholarship application:
Fall semester- July 1st
Spring semester- December 1st
Summer semester- April 1st
